New Family Tradition

we have an up and coming little tradition to stop and get this every time we drive to and from Utah. when my mom and family travel now they do the same.

from AZ to Utah we drive through Flagstaff then Jacob Lake (instead of Paige) and then Fredonia, Colorado City and Hurricane on up. we swear its the fastest way, at least in good weather. at the little lodge next to the gas station up at Jacob Lake, you can find these:

the most delicious cookies! this picture does NOT do them justice. at $1.25 a piece they seem kind of pricey but i told dan i'd still pay $3 for just one cookie-on-a-cloud itself (the chocolate cookie with marshmallow and rich fudge frosting). also pictured are the milk chocolate parfait and lemon zucchini. add another 10 varieties to the mix and there you have it. apparently they started making cupcakes too. we love driving though Jacob Lake and it makes for a fun rest stop.

They don't LOOK very delicious. That one on the bottom right looks like weird mashed potatoes.

You should just move back to Utah, as often as you make trips up here from AZ! :) I haven't tried going any other way except through Page...next time I go to AZ to see my brother I may just have to try it your way and stop for some of those yummy cookies! :) Love your new header photo!

i told you the picture didn't do them justice! maybe i should have let your imagination do all the work instead. i swear that cookie-on-a-cloud is amazing - ask Hannah!
